Ambrela Beach was less than a five minute drive from our resort and was awarded a "Blue Flag" for its “cleanliness and exceptional water quality.” In the summer you can rent deck chairs and umbrellas (there are also bathrooms and showers and a lifeguard on duty). The kids had a blast learning to skip rocks and searching for "sea life!"
The beach was really clean and the water was so clear! There were a few families laying out in the rocks but not many people in the water. Most of the people were on the balcony of the nearby restaurant! A paved walking path circles around the beach as well...perfect for running!
Once everyone's arms were tired from throwing rocks we loaded back up into the car and headed down into the city center to check out more of the Roman Amphitheater!
