Prementura, Croatia (Kamenjak National Park)

On the recommendation of our waiter last night we headed about 15 minutes away to the town of Prementura to check out another one of Croatia's famous national parks, Kamenjak.

We were so excited to check this place out!  Take a look at the pics and you'll see why....

"Prementura is a small place located on the south of the Istrian peninsula, near the tourist center Pula. Point Kamenjak is located to the south and the Medulin bay to the east.  The sea color is a rare blue-green, the clearest in the entire Adriatic.  Some of the most beautiful pebble and rocky beaches are located here, some of which are Point Kamenjak, Sandy cove beach, Stupce beach (pebble beach), Munte (a combination of a beautiful pebble beach and a paved sun-bathing spot). This is one of the rare destinations which offer a beach which is adapted to the blind. Premantura has a lot of historical sites; visit the church of St. Lovre (located on the central square and built in the 17th century; special festivity takes place on August 10 when the patron saint of Premantura is celebrated – St. Lovre) and the tower (a coordinator for many seamen who could travel along the shore)."

However, these are the only pictures we have because we actually didn't get to see any of it due to a week-long military exercise.
