Kaiserslautern, Germany (Dino Park)

We took the kids for a "Family Fun Day" at the Gartenschau in Kaiserslautern, Germany, today.  The weather was perfect for being outside and we had a blast!

In addition to the regular dino/park experience, the Gardenschau was also decked out for it's "Wild West" Pumpkin Festival. 

 

Our kids were less concerned with the pumpkins and dinosaurs, though, and more concerned with all the fun playground equipment!  We ended up eating lunch at the beer garden in the park (schnitzel, pommes, and bratwursts).  The food wasn't that bad.  It was a little expensive, but that was expected.  You could bring your own lunch but we didn't plan that far ahead...next time, baby!

It was a good day!
