Kaiserslautern, Germany (Christmas Market)

Took the family to K-Town to enjoy their Christmas market on a rainy, Saturday afternoon!

The market is held in their downtown shopping area and is centered around the Gothic church on Schillerplatz square.  There were more than 50 vendors offering a variety of items, but let's face it...we went for the food!

Besides the Christmas market and shopping area, there are lots of fun things to do in K-Town:

You can check out the dinosaur park at the Gartenschau.
Go ice-skating.
See the animals at the Kaisterslautern Zoo.
Relax in the Japanese Gardens.
Catch a movie at the Kino or soccer game at Fritz Walter Stadium.
Go swimming at Monte Mare.
Let your kids play at Kinder Spiel.
Hike up to Burg Hohenecken, or
Race go-carts at the indoor track...whatever you choose to do, I'm sure you will have lots of fun!
